Posted by Nathan on July 21, 2007

CARSguide has a full write-up on the new 380, which now has the option of an additional LPG tank to allow it to run on either unleaded or LPG. The all-important fuel consumption figures sit at 15.9 L/100km for the dual-fuel system, compared to 10.9 L/100km for running on petrol only, with the extra fuel system adding $4050 to the base price. That’s litres of LPG, remember. Given the low price of LP gas, you’re still paying less for fuel, and emissions are reduced compared to petrol as well.

Excellent, now only can car manufacturers please make LPG vehicles more fuel efficient and offer dedicated LPG (other than Ford), or a Solar LPG Hybrid please!
